Сон Гоку живёт мирной жизнью, но вскоре появляются проблемы. Из космоса приходят неизвестные враги, желающие покорить Землю. Гоку вступает в битву с их предводителем и проигрывает. Казалось бы, для Земли всё кончено, но на помощь герою приходит его сын Сон Гохан и спасает того от неминуемой гибели. И хотя у Гохана репутация труса, ему предстоит преодолеть себя и вместе с отцом победить захватчиков!
